Relay for Life Saturday July 9th

There is still time to join a team or start your own team for Relay for Life 2011 at Concord High School. This is to benefit the American Cancer Society. Very few of us can say that our lives have not been affected by cancer. Just in our little world me, my wife, my mom and aunt are cancer surviors. We have many friends who have battled breast cancer and have lost loved ones to this disease. We can sometimes feel helpless, but we can take the power away from the "C" word. Relay for Life is an opportunity to celebrate those who have overcome cancer, to show our support for those who are currently struggling with the disease, and to reflect on those we have lost. It is also a great opportunity to raise money for the American Cancer Society with the hope that in our lifetime we will see the cure for the disease. Please join us, get a relay team together or donate to be part of the solution. We'd love to see lots and lots of Concord residents join us in this very worthwhile event.
